Rehabilitation Service...

Asian Care UK provides residential/rehabilitation services for individuals who are recovering from enduring mental health illness.

Our rehabilitation service commences at the point of admission, this starts with the service user having a period of time to familiarise themselves with their new environment and to develop positive working relationships with the staff team. Asian Care UK’s staff team are professional and dedicated with an extensive skills base, having both vocational and professional qualifications. The expertise of the staff allows us to ensure that we support our service users in all aspects of daily living. We support and encourage our service users to participate in the development of their care and support plans which are reviewed on a monthly basis We endeavour to ensure that all care and support plans focus on maintaining the existing skills of the service user, at the same time supporting the individual in the development of new skills which includes the following:

Support in all areas of personal hygiene/ grooming.

Support with all domestic tasks/duties.

Support with accessing community amenities, including clubs and social events.

Support in attending appointments with external agencies and professionals.

Support with shopping for personal items.

Support with managing their finances and benefits.

Support with the purchase, preparation and cooking of their meals.

Support with all spiritual/cultural requirements.

Support with educational and vocational services, assisting, if appropriate, introduction to voluntary/paid employment.

Support with staged administering of own medication.

Supporting our service users achieve realistic goals through staged structure and person centred planning.
